What's going on anyway? 
It's interesting to watch the MLS as all of our Steward Company agents do every day and see the changes going on.  Prices have had an incredible drop in the last couple of years to rock bottom levels.  This has pulled many first time home buyers out of the wood work to buy these homes under $100,000. Now most are in escrow or sold and new buyers are faced with looking at homes with prices somewhat more than they would have liked.  I would not say that prices are increasing as I don't see any real evidence of that yet, but what is happening is more buyers are buying the lower priced homes, which means if you want to buy a home, you better get looking and make your move.  I personally have four clients all looking for homes under $100,000 and now there really isn't much to choose from and these clients are having to reevaluate a little higher payment because the market has heated up and they can't find any homes in this price range.
